Miss Ella was rescued from another mustang round-up in the northern states. She came with a yearling who was still nursing, so our main struggle was to wean them. Once we were able to place Ella in a 12x12 stall, approaching her became a daily goal. She was never aggressive or mean, just fearful.

Once we had halter broke her, Ella's demeanor calmed immensely. She remains one of our calmest mares to date, easily adapting to trail rides and younger riders. We love having her around, and just looking at her is breathtaking!
