We had a connemara pony lesson horse when I started riding. He was absolutely adorable - he was the first to put his head over the door and greet anyone who entered the barn. He had a big, fluffy forelock. I don't think I ever saw his ears pinned back or anything less than friendly. He loved jumping and was absolutely fearless. He could collect and slow himself down for hunter/jumper, or fly over anything in show jumping and cross country. His canter was like riding a cloud. He was such a pleasure to ride and made me fall in love with the breed.
