Our Appaloosa

I, myself, am not really in to horses, so I have answered these questions from things said by my husband. We acquired Appy when she was green-broke and my husband has trained her since then. From our experience, the appaloosa is a very sound, calm horse. They are also extremely smart, catching on quickly. At first, my husband was the only one who could ride her, but it wasn't long before she was a good horse for anyone to ride. She also has a lot of heart and will try climbing any mountain put in front of her. My husband has grown very fond of her and would certainly consider owning another appaloosa. However, at this age, I'm hoping he won't. I would, from our experience, recommend the appaloosa. However, as you would imagine, it certainly depends on training and the horse's temperament.
