This guy was my first great horse as a kid. He was a fantastic horse for me to start 4H on, and took care of me the best he could. We bought him when he was 15 years old, and unfortunately because of some conformational issues he developed ring bone in his pasterns by the time he was 17 years old. But that horse still LOVED being taken out on rides. We would give him bute before rides and that helped. We retired him by 20 and he lived happily in the pasture until he was about 23 years old and eventually passed away. He was a gem of a horse, and one I'll never forget!
