Advair Diskus etc. (fluticasone; salmeterol) | Dog Owner Ratings | RightPet

Advair Diskus is an inhalant medication which is used to treat chronic canine bronchitis. Advair combines fluticasone, a synthetic corticosteroid, with salmeterol, a long-lasting bronchodilator medication.

Salmeterol is different than other bronchodilators because it does not act quickly enough to relieve an asthma attack that has already started.

Advair Diskus is a metered dose inhaler. Because they're designed for humans rather than dogs, when Advair is used for dogs, the inhaler is combined with a Canine Aerosol Chamber (CAC) to make administration easier.
