There are a number of flexible wraps and pads which produce infrared energy to relieve muscle pain and stiffness.
Infrared (IR) radiation is electromagnetic radiation of a wavelength longer than visible light, but shorter than microwave radiation. Infrared radiation cannot be seen, but it can be felt as heat. Infrared pads and wraps are placed in direct contact with the skin, and the infrared energy penetrates about 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) into the body.
Infrared pads and wraps also include red LED bulbs. Red light therapy is used to stimulate collagen and rejuvenate skin.
