Chicken Coccidiosis

Coccidiosis is an intestinal infection that is caused by a microscopic protozoan parasite coccidia. Coccidia infections in chickens are caused when a bird comes into contact with, or eats, the feces of another chicken with Coccidiosis.

Coccidiosis typically affects young chickens, and can cause bloody feces.
