Tiger Barbs do not torment other fish!

These are my favorite little fish as they have awesome coloring and patterns. They are considered a semi-aggressive fish, but I've kept them with all sorts of other fish and there was very little fighting. I even had tetras. What I found worked best was keeping all semi-aggressive fish. Angel fish have about the same temperament and did fine with barbs.

Tiger Barbs, like most fresh water tropical fish, are schooling fish so you should keep at least three or more. The more the better especially in a large tank. Also, their color is brighter when they are healthy. If they look dull it may be time to clean the tank!!
