Suckermouth catfish are not like a beautiful addition to your tank, but they will keep your tank looking beautiful. Honestly he kind of scared me when I saw him! I had a tank with two Goldfish and I got him to help out with algae. Having a bottom feeder really helped with keeping things nice and tidy in the tank, and helped with going a bit longer between cleanings. They are a pretty large fish, so make sure your tank has the room. I think if I were to get a freshwater aquarium going ever again, I would invest in another catfish to keep things looking nice and make things easier on me as far as cleanings go.
