You couldn't kill it with a hammer

This plecostomus lived forever and got like a foot long! They're a super hardy fish and you'd have to try to kill it. They won't die on their own. The only problem I had with him was that in the night he'd swim up and suck on my other fish. He would remove their slime coat and, in some cases, their scales. You need to make sure they're well fed but if you OVER feed them, they get lazy and won't clean the tank. There's a fine line between lazy and sucking your other fish.
