This is a hardy fish, good starter for small reef beginner. Lot of bang for the buck, high visibility and quirky antics make it a showstopper. Not too large, so shouldn't be placed with huge, aggressive types. Classified a Basslet, rarely gets more than 3 inches long, so will not crowd a tank. Give it lots of rockwork and pseudo hidey-holes, so it can lurk. Very simple feeder, will eat just about anything you give it. Also easy to get as tank raised and will live longer, so go that route when possible. One tip: you will want more than one, so get them all at the same time; they will establish their own hierarchy more quickly and with fewer casualties.
