Red Zebra Mbuna

Red zebras gain their name from males in breeding condition. With males mostly displaying more of an orange colour and females a much more washed out shade. Kept with other Mbuna species they live well in sand or coral sanded tanks with lots of slate and rock ‘reef’ like structures. Like all Mbuna species, over stocking can help even out aggression and territorial behaviour rather than this being focused on one individual.
