Love them. Easy to have, easy to feed, to breed,... They are great for nano tanks and for large tanks. Friend of mine has 100 of them in a 500 litre tank, i have them in 30 and 100 litre tanks. There should never be less than 6-8 individuals, the more the merrier.
You have to be careful because they are so small, a lot of fish can harm them. Just stick to small species. Mine are currently in company of dwarf gouramis and some dwarf loaches. Really fine sand is a must because you dont want them hurting their tiny little barbels.
If feed them live or at least frozen foods they will breed constantly. You dont even have to do anything with the young (with enough plants and moss), you just feed them micro foods in the main tank and they will grow next to adults.
Love them.
