Beautiful fish good for community tanks

What I like is this translucent body with toned colors which looks really good in planted aquaria. It moves around with grace and likes planted areas, it seems like it looks after the plants.
keep in mind it will grow quite large and tall over 4 inch in length, but if you can afford a large tank then a small group is a joy to keep. There should always be more females than males otherwise get ready for some territorial issues.
Girls and boys look almost the same, the difference is a red throat and a bit longer fins.
Easy to keep and quite smart, will recognize the owner and remind you of feeding time. No need to feed too much as pearls like to dig around between plants for snacks.
Most often the shops will sell you very young fish, but keep in mind they will grow.
