Neon Tetras are fun fish to watch

I believe Neon Tetras are a great addition to any freshwater aquarium. They should be purchased in groups of 5 or more, as they do much better in groups. They tend to school in the tank when there are many of them and they can be fascinating to watch as they flash and change direction. They are hearty fish and do very well with most other non-aggressive species of fish. They do require the tank to be aerated and the water filtered, as so most aquarium fish, but they are very easy to care for and can provide hours of entertainment.

Hi SleevieNicks. I just put a deposit down on a Golden Conure. Fell in love with the one in the shop. Will be until summer that I will be able to have mine. Person in shop said they were quiet enough for an apartment, but I have read on line that they are very noisy like most all conures. Now I'm worried and the green cheeked seems better, even quiet in some reviews, but not so much yours. What is your experience with noise? Thanks.
