I have had a number of angel fish in my aquarium through the years, although at present I don't have any. For the most part I would say that they were nice additions to my tank. After all they are beautiful, very interesting in terms of their body shape.
It is amazing to see that they can actually stay upright, despite their very tall body.

My main issue with this fish has been that they always seem to have a short life span, while other of my fish have survived for years these fish never seemed to last quite as long.

They are easy to feed, requiring no special food. Angelfish are great beginner fish, as they don't really require any unique, or special care that is unique to them.

All in all they are a good addition to most tanks, just make sure they are compatible with the other fish in your tank before you buy them.
