Baby Guppies

What I remember most about our guppies were the babies. Guppies reproduce fairly easily, and if you notice that you have a pregnant guppy, you can enjoy the babies with a little research and extra care. They have a pleasant appearance with flowing fins and can be very colorful, although ours were not so much. Sometimes there may be a "bully" among your group of guppies, so it's recommended that you have lots of places for your fish to hide. Other, bigger species can also pose a problem for your guppies, so you have to be careful what kind of fish you put in your tank. We once found a guppy half eaten. :-( While guppies require more care than other species, we found the excitement of baby guppies to be well worth the work.
