Demasoni Cichlids

My first African cichlids.

They come from the Malawi Lake, and are a really awesome and colourful species of fishes. They are small and pretty drark blue fishes that love to dig in the sand.

They're easy to keep, but are really aggresive with other Demasonis, they are small, but a big group is recommended, and a 55 gallons aquarium will house easily 8 of them, with some tank mates. I have kept them in 20 gallons and that wasn't enough, believe me.

Make sure to get 3 Females and 1 Male, with more males, the females will be in troubles. This is a fish recommended for newbies with Malawi's lake cichlids, they breed really easy, just be patient.
