I set up my second tank with a school of 5 Congo Tetras as the focal point. They are a beautiful fish. They have large silver scales with a yellow stripe running down the side.
They are relatively easy to care for. They are a schooling fish so are more comfortable in numbers. A school of Congo Tetras just look stunning! They can get as big as 3" so they do better in a fairly long tank. 3.5' would be a minimum.
They do prefer slightly acidic water and can be a bit delicate so you have to keep up with your water changes. They prefer live food but will eat flakes.
