Fair goldfish

So I went to the NC State fair in October and was absolutely delighted when some kid offered me his goldfish that he'd won and told me to take good care of them. Being the child at heart that I am, I was ecstatic. I had attempted to own goldfish when I was a lot younger but they never lasted more than a few days. If you do your research first, goldfish are a great choice for all ages. Here are some tips that are important if you're not already familiar with owning goldfish.

-Make sure to get a tank with a filter and a bubbler. Goldfish produce a lot of waste. They cannot be kept in glass bowls. They will die.
-Goldfish may eat other fish. They eat everything in site and should only be kept with other goldfish just to be safe.
-They can jump out of aquariums so make sure you have a lid.
-They actually don't have a 3-second memory. That's a myth. Make sure to put lots of decorations in their space so they don't get bored.
