Blue Discus,
I have owned the 5 blue discus for about 7 months now, and I must say that I am pretty amazed over the little difficulty I have had owning these. Alot of people say that the discus is one of the hardest fish to keep, but that has not been a problem for me, at all. These fish can be quite aggressive towards eachother if they are in a cramped aquarium, so your tank needs to be big enough if you want to keep them. They are a schooling type of fish, four or five is the minimum you should keep together. Water parameters should be 27-30C and a normal pH of 7. You should feed them regularly and also keep your substance pretty waste free, they also require alot of water change but I do this every third day with a 30% change. I have not been able to breed these yet, but I am working on it.
All in all, the discus is a beautiful fish that you have to keep in your life atleast once to have tried it, these fish will give you alot of work and alot of relaxation.
