I have kept blue damsels in my saltwater tank for about twenty years. They are great starter fish, very easy to keep and handle the nitrate/nitrate cycle without a problem. They are also very colorful, a brilliant blue color and are always swimming in the tank. The main problem with them is that they will sometimes attack other fish, especially those that are not as fast as they are. Damsels are amazingly fast and impossible to catch without emptying the tank of all possible hiding places. Despite their beautiful color and easy maintenance I have stopped keeping them in my community reef tank as they harass the other tank members.
