Shadow the Black Moor Goldfish

Alas, this is a sad review. When I was younger my family had a long-serving goldfish named Sharkie, who lived in a big tank all by himself. One day, inevitably, Sharkie passed on, and after a suitable mourning period my parents decided to buy some replacement fish. My siblings and I were allowed to choose one fish each; my brother chose a gold fish, my sister a silver one, and myself? I was drawn to a black fish that I immediately and appropriately named Shadow.

Sadly, while Shadow's new tankmates lived to a ripe old age, Shadow did not. Within 2 weeks he had died, of completely unknown reasons. Perhaps it was the water, or his diet? I wish I knew. I wish also that I could end this review on a happy note, but unfortunately Shadow's successor, another Black Moor Goldfish, met the same untimely and mystifying end within 2 weeks as well.
