Having a Submissive Beta Fish

My Beta Fish names Boo is a rare breed within his species. His type is known for being aggressive but he is content being submissive to other fish in my tank. He gets along great with small schooling fish and females of the same type. He is very interactive and can eat from my hand. He "hangs out with me" in a sense that he gravitates to the side of the tank I am closest to and will stay there with me. I had never had quite an amazing experience with a Beta Fish until Boo.
