My Aquarium and My Bala Shark

Back in 2001 when I decided that I wanted to start a freshwater aquarium, one of the fish that I decided to add to my tank was a Bala Shark. These sharks are very active in the tank and really enjoy swimming about. I wanted my tank to be active and not dry and mundane. The Bala Shark is typically very active and has a personality of its own. They are very fun to watch, and easy to take care of as long as you know how to maintain a freshwater setup. They eat regular tropical flake food and I supplement that with freeze dried krill and blood worms as a treat. I would recommend a Bala Shark to any new beginner in the fish world as they are easy to take care of. One of the only cons to Bala Sharks is their size. They do get rather large so you want to make sure that you have adequate room for growth, and do not over populate your tank.
