These Australian/Asian natives are among the most beautiful (as we might expect!) of all freshwater fishes. Oddly enough, Rainbowfish have been largely overlooked until recently…perhaps because they remain somberly-colored until age 1-2 years. But any fan will tell you they are well-worth waiting for! Rainbowfish need plenty of surface swimming room, and are best kept in groups, but otherwise they are undemanding…and always in swirling, colorful motion!
