Wire Fox Terriers

These are awesome companion dogs! They are definitely a rambunctious breed though! From my experience, having a bigger back yard for running and playing is essential. The dogs have terrier in their blood so by nature they will be a little feisty and may get a little carried away with younger children. (accidentally nipping or play fighting) Terriers love toys, especially tennis balls or something to play tug-o-war with. I might urge the owner to stay away from the squeaky toys not because they aren't fun for the dogs, but the dogs usually tear right through the flimsier toys. Rubber or rope are prime toy materials. Despite their love for the outdoors, running, and playing, wire fox terriers are very loving and become attached to those in the entire household.
