Ever since Goldie joined my family about 4 years ago life at home (and anywhere else for that matter) hasn't been the same. He is such an interesting character and getting to know him has been such a joy! His personality is very fun and welcoming as well. I would say it takes some time for him to get to know someone new and welcome them in his own way to be a part of the family. There is the occasional exception where he welcomes somebody he especially likes right away. If you're a dog owner and you visit us I'm sure you would have a higher chance of Goldie being really friendly to you since he senses that you own a dog as well. Goldie is very playful; his favorite toys are balls, any kind, usually the bigger the better. He absolutely adores basketballs and soccer balls! He dribbles them like a pro! Sometimes he can get a bit too active but he usually settles down after a good session playing with his basketball. Although he always gets really active after taking a bath. He buzzes around the entire house. Goldie can start barking quite often when he sees other dogs walking across the street or when the neighbors become too loud. Other than that, he is very obedient and a wonderful companion.
