My review is on Miniature Poodles also known as Toy poodles. I enjoyed owning a toy poodle for about six years which then was given to my grandmother who fell in love with him. Even though he died of old age he was one of my favorite pets owned and I do believe my grandmother would have said the same. Some advantages and disadvantages of owning a miniature (toy) poodle are:

They are very intelligent
Very sociable and adaptable to environments
Their size makes them easy to take along for rides or for outings
Have long lives and very few health problems
They get along with children and other animals
Bark excessively- great for those who might live alone
Great personalities, also can be very emotional sometimes
Loyal and Happy dogs most the time
Very understanding dogs
The disadvantages of owning a miniature poodle are:

They don't make great guard dogs
They require your time
Toy poodles need regular grooming
Bark excessively
