Our miniature pincher is a dog that likes to do her own thing. They can be very cheeky at times, but once all is said and done, they will come and curl up on your lap looking for you to keep them warm. They scare very easily, but this makes them good watch dogs because they bark incessantly whenever anyone approaches. They have a reputation for nipping at people, but I haven't found this with our dog. They are easy to train if you provide motivation like snacks, but otherwise, they will ignore you.
