Nelly was a dog my family and I fostered for around a year. She was a miniature bulldog, which I have never heard of before her. Our family just fell in love with her. She was a puppy when she came to us from a pretty abusive situation. The owner surrendered her thankfully, doing the right thing. She was pretty resilient. You would never know her past. She was extremely sweet and friendly towards everyone and everything. She loved our other dogs. Luckily, an uncle saw exactly what we did in her, and adopted her from us. She is still living the best possible life now and is in good health, even in her senior years. I have noticed quite a bit of resilience in most bully breeds and just because she's a mini, she was no exception!
