Hello, this is my honest review about this breed (Teacup Maltese) for anyone considering getting this type of dog. Maltese are quite attached and somewhat difficult to house break. It is very easy to spoil this pet. If you should overindulge, they will become "bratty" and overdependent. When it comes to training, they respond very well to obedience training. You should expect this from them as you would expect the same behavior of a larger dog. Other than that, she's very playful and intelligent, and sociable. For the allergy sufferers out there like myself, just know that the Maltese shed very little, however she requires brushing and combing often. On the downside, if you do leave her alone too much or too long, she will be destructive and loud, barking etc.
