Don't get me wrong, I love her right to death. But she is my dad's dog all the way, because she's bad. She barks at EVERYTHING. Person walking by, someone comes through the door, she noticed a leaf move, some just steps into the room--one time she even farted, startled herself, and barked at it. She growls when her personal space is invaded by my family or by another dog, she will get irritated and snap at someone. If you walk too fast she runs up and bites your ankles with her one tooth. She's got a host of medical problems--a bulgie undereye, tumors, warts, arthritis, partially deaf, overweight (I blame my dad for that). She needs to be brushed EVERY day and have her eyes washed or they'll get stained red.
But I love her. She's a sweet lapdog who loves any and all attention. She rolls over for belly rubs, she loves to play with her toys and to go outside. She chases the cat, but if the cat's ever cornered Demi doesn't actually know what to do. She refuses to use the doggie stairs we've bought her for getting on and off the couch and just jumps right over it. She's stubborn, she begs for walks but then gives up halfway and makes you carry her home. But she wins over your heart in a second. She's so bad, but she's so good.
