Muffin - The Lhaso Apso That Ran a Household

A Lhasa Apso was the first pet my family got, and I was only six or seven years old when we adopted Muffin.

Muffin ended up being one of the best dogs ever. She inspired us to get several other Lhasas after she passed.

The best thing about the dog was how devoted to the family it was. It really saw itself as the protector/mother of myself and my little sister, and was so devoted to 'law and order' reigning in the household that it was hilarious.

Any time people would fight or argue she would get upset and bark at them until they stopped. It was so funny we would often pretend to quarrel just to provoke her a little bit.

She was also a great guard dog, and has the benefit of having hair instead of fur so grooming was relatively easy.

I wholeheartedly recommend Lhasa Apsos to families or individuals looking for a small, indoor dog that is gentle, caring, and very devoted to its family.
