From a very young age, our dog had an excellent temperament, was affectionate to the family and easy to train. Unfortunately, he suffers from hip dysplasia, a common affliction amongst labs that was exacerbated by his obesity as a puppy. As a larger dog, he sometimes tries to "assert his dominance" by tackling smaller people to the ground, though he seems to do this with more affection than malice. In all, our dog is an excellent companion and a great member of our family.
