I got my first Labrador Retriever in 2009. He's colored black and his name is "Dixon". By now he's 6 years old. Me and my family are super happy with this breed. I think it's meant to be a family dog. It's so calm and loving. The breed can handle other animals very well. For an example cats and horses. It's a normal sized dog which I think is perfect. Dixon only barks when it knocks on the front door. I guess he's guarding the house. I guess that's the only negative thing I can say about the breed but it's not a problem at all. I would really recommend this all-around breed.
