I got Hurley when he was 6 months old. He was a terror to his previous owner because he wasn't provided with the proper training nor exercise. He was tearing up her entire house. I took him in and he changed completely. With the proper exercise and attention, he didn't tear anything up in my house. But Hurley was taken from his mom way too soon. He wasn't taught how to interact with other dogs nor how to take cues from other dogs. That's not an issue with his breeds, it's an issue with how he was raised. But as a Lab and Husky mix, he is extremely hyper and excited all of the time. He takes on the husky side in that he doesn't like to cuddle. But he does have extreme separation anxiety. He has to know where I am at all times. Hands down, he is the best dog I have ever owned. I wish that he didn't have the infancy that he did where he didn't get the time with his mom that he so desperately needed, but he is perfect to me.
