Jillian was given to me by a stranger when she was about 5 weeks old. She is well-behaved, friendly to strangers outside of our home and very loving to everyone she meets. She currently is considered a large breed dog weighing in at 64 pounds. Jill loves to be as close to me as possible. Being a short-haired pooch, she sheds a little but a weekly brushing keeps this down. We do go on short runs about one mile three times a week. I would not suggest free feeding this kind of pooch, due to her being about 9 pounds overweight. Jill is very well mannered with our young children, other dogs and animals too. The only time she has ever shown aggression is when another dog shows aggression first. She has been snipped at several times by smaller dogs, her response is a lot of loud barking and growling. Removing her, just three feet from the other dog works wonderfully and she calms down automatically.
