Pretty Komondor

Hello, I had a komondor about 7 years ago - she was called Pretty. She was a big, calm, child-friended pet, never agressive, when I was about 7, I could go for a walk with her without a dog lead. She wasn't too smart, needed much time to learn the basic things like "come here, stay there, sit down",etc, and I never taught her any tricks or extras. And it wasn't truly necessary, we loved that way she was. But she had an enormous fear of storms, and it was just worse by the time. In the end we couldn't let her alone - beacuse she escaped, and went other houses to hide, and this was not tolerated by the neighbours. So if you want a great, lazy friend, who is friendly but can protect, and you have time and place(!) enough, a komondor is a good choice. But if the dog has any fear, any mind problem, that could be hard sometimes.
