Yippy Little Things

I have fostered 2 jack russels as well as owned one many years ago. My latest encounter was with Dunder and Mifflin, two fosters I kept for my rescue. I only had them for about a month, but it was enough to know that they were not the breed for me. They are very sweet and snuggly with their person, however they can be nippy and aggressive toward strangers and small children. I found them to bark more frequently than some larger breeds as well as to be more likely to be underfoot. They are active little guys, so a yard is helpful. Also, they can be stubborn, I strongly recommend early training!

Not the dogs for me, however I have seen many people who are absolutely head over heels for the breed!
