Meet Boo!

I
am not sure if I spelled his name correctly, but “Boo” was named
after the character in “To Kill a Mockingbird”, my sister's
favorite book. Adopted by my sister as a pup, he has come to the
farm on many occasion when my sister travels for work. This is his
second home.

Although
Jack Russells are usually very vocal beasts, Boo is not. In fact,
most of my dogs are minimal barkers. I wonder if they copy each
others characteristics? Boo is very energetic though, another common
trait, and needs lots of room to run. And at 10 years old, he still
has a lot of spring in his step. Since Jacks were originally bred to
hunt, he is a very curious critter. We do have the occasional
uninvited fox visiting the fields, so I have to be extra careful with
Boo. He has been known to go fox hunting at a moment's notice, and
nothing interferes with his focus on fox! He will run and chase them
to the ends of the earth. Fortunately, he has never caught up to one
yet, but he never stops trying!
