My family has owned Florence since birth. Her mom and dad are also in the family, both Jack Russel Terriers. Unlike her parents, Florence is a little weary of her surroundings and of strangers. She was very easy to train. She has never gone in the house, and she knows how to ask for food or water when she needs it. She loves eating, so she's slightly overweight and we have begun to keep an eye on how much she's eating. Florence is also great around other dogs! She loves playdates with our friends' dogs and going to the dog park. Over all she is a really active dog, which isn't fun is there are babies/young children in the house because she will chew up all of their toys. Shoes should be put away as well. We have provided her with her own bed and toys (several of them) which constantly have to be replaced because this dog loves to chew. Florence is also responsible for turning beautiful furniture into hundreds of pieces of foam. If it's within her reach, it'll go in her mouth. Florence is a very smart dog that has figured out how to open doors and push chairs out so she can climb on to the table. She is very quick too and has managed to eat anything left on the table, even if it was just for a minute. I would recommend this dog to someone who is very active and can take the dog out for a run or to the dog park on a regular basis.
