Tinker was rescued from a home in Simi Valley, CA along with 58 other dogs. She lived at the Humane Society of Ventura County, where I volunteer, for over a year and was the 56th "Simi dog" to be adopted. She is very cute as you can see but her age made her difficult to adopt out. People all want puppies but older dogs are really much easier to handle. They are past the chewing stage, their personality is set (what you see is what you get), they are more likely to be emotionally stable, and they are usually easier to train. Tinker is the most effortless dog to care for that I have ever owned and there is no way you could ever spoil her. With her rough background, she is thankful for everything and takes nothing for granted.
