My Old Man

My pup was a Christmas gift to me when I returned home from the service. He was a two year old Havanese/ Shi Tzu mix named Buster. The door opened up, he ran in, said hello to everyone and made himself comfortable on the couch. He is definitely a good mix, slightly taller than the Shi Tzu, but smaller than the Havanese. He is a highly intelligent and very loveable dog that wears his emotions on his face and needs to feel he is a part of the family. While he doesn't require excessive amounts of exercise, as he is a relatively laid back dog, he thoroughly enjoys his play dates. While we have had our 'Marley and Me' moments, he has been a very loyal companion, seeing me through some very difficult moment. I will highly recommend this breed to any one, including families. They can make good apartment dogs, although he is sensitive to loud noises and activity, therefore barking can be an issue if not properly trained. Aside from grooming, these dogs don't require much except lots of love from their humans and will no doubt return the favor in abundance.
