It was simply by fate that I acquired my Great Pyrenees, Border Collie mix dog. His other owners were at their wits end with trying to get his broken leg healed and trying to get him to take the medications needed. That is when I acquired this new son of mine. He was 10 months old and very playful so restriction in activity was hard, but being so young meant the bones would heal eventually. He has been the best dog since. He is intelligent but requires more training than other dogs I have had. He lives to please every person he comes in contact with. Even other animals. He loves cats and kids (his only downfall is that he is so large).
Given time he has learned all that I have asked him to. He is a great guard dog always keeping an eye out for wildlife at our rural home, but he would make a terrible
