Review on our Labrador

Our Labrador, Ebony was a very loyal, intelligent and friendly dog, a perfect family pet. She was generally a very happy dog; very gentle and affectionate with her family but would aggressively defend us if needed. She was fairly low-maintenance but had a voracious appetite and so, needed a lot of walks and exercise to remain at a healthy weight.

One thing that should be mentioned is that Labradors are prone to seizures. Ebony would get them every couple of months or so when she was young but they reduced in frequency and eventually stopped as she got older. She also developed arthritis when she got older and needed regular injections to enable her to walk properly. She’s passed on but is missed greatly and I won’t hesitate to own this breed again in the future.
