Jake is my stepchildren's dog. My husband got him from someone that was selling them for $100 at Walmart.

Jake is an interesting mixture of his two breeds. He has one of the softest coats I have ever felt. His coloring is that of a Golden, but his ears are pure Cocker :-)He learned his basic commands very well and potty trained easily.

He was a slow grower and he didn't reach full size (45 pounds) for over a year. My husband thought he was going to stay the size of a Cocker Spaniel, but he ended up being right in between the two breeds size-wise.

He loves people and constantly wants to be around them. He gets along with other dogs and cats, but he doesn't want to play with them. He prefers getting his exercise in with his humans.
