I always thought I would be just a fan of big dog breeds, that is until I met my adorable French bulldog. They are very sweet, sensitive to emotions (he can tell when you're happy, sad, etc). French Bulldogs, as any bulldog breed, do have some health issues with respiratory, but purebreds seem to do better. They can be a bit needy, and if you have a job or lifestyle that keeps you away from the home for hours upon hours, they can get very clingy when you do come home. They're amazing cuddle buddies, very rarely bark, and will always put a smile on your face. Warning: they do tend to be gasy, so just ensure you are keeping a stable diet of appropriate, quality dog food, and refrain from table scraps.
