English Springer Spaniel - Fun, Loving Sweetheart!

We got our sweet English Springer Spaniel as a puppy and have loved every minute with this sweetheart! We've found this breed to be very easy to train. She quickly took to potty training with very few accidents. She knows the basic commands (sit, lay, stay, shake) and is eager to please.

This breed is fairly easy to groom, as well. We give Daisy weekly baths and try to brush her coat a few times a week, and with just that minimal care she looks great and rarely has any issues. However, this breed does shed a fair amount.

She rarely barks, only at the occasional intruder be it cat, squirrel or person. Once a guest arrives, we do have to get her to calm down or else she'll jump on them. Even after settling that though, she still "talks" to them for the first few minutes with long howls that truly sound like she's talking!

We haven't had any health issues at all with our Springer. She's been very healthy and loves to go for walks with us. She can be a little skittish of other animals, but she just cowers instead of attacking.

We have absolutely loved our English Spring Spaniel and are constantly recommending the breed for families. You will love yours if you're looking for a sweet medium-sized breed!
