Chas was given to us as an eighteen month old Springer Spaniel - our lives were never the same and 15 years of chaos followed.
Springers have an abundance of energy - luckily we live in the country and are a very active family. He was happiest leaping through the fields having picked up a scent. In his younger days it would have been impossible to tire him out and even as he grew older strangers would ask me if her were a pup.
He was rather highly strung and, perhaps due to a change of owner at eighteen months , he had separation issues.
As a family dog he was wonderful and had the kindest nature. He was everybody's best friend. Chas eventually suffered with joint problems and last year we lost him. Our lives will never be the same again. He grew up with the children and our family now feels incomplete without him. We are grateful for the many wonderful years we spent together. if you have loads of energy and are looking for a dog to match - this is the dog for you.
